Minimum Charge This is the minimum charge made for my time.  The visit/call out charge still applies.	1	£25
Consultation with Vet A private consultation with your Vet.  This will include discussing the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of your horse and its specific problem.	1	£25 per 15 minutes
Examination of lame horse To examine a lame horse with a foot lameness and if possible find and  alleviate the cause.	1	£25 per 15 minutes
Viewing X-rays To view x-ray plates or digital x-rays of your horses foot supplied by your Vet.  (This will, in addition, require a consultation with your VET which will be charged as shown above)	1	£15

The Importance Of Direct Communication

When we are dealing with a lame horse that also has the involvement of your Veterinary Surgeon it is important that we have direct communication with them.  This ensures that the work to be carried out on the horse is correct for its specific condition.  It is easy for third hand information to be inaccurate which could be detrimental to the wellbeing of the horse.  With this said, we will only carry out work that has been requested by a Veterinary Surgeon once we has spoken directly to them or are in the possession of Veterinary release notes that accompany the horse.

Likewise, if we feel Veterinary intervention is required we will not pass on messages through you the client but directly to your Vet or by way of a referral form.  This again ensures the treatment given to your horse is correct for its specific problem.
