Booking Availability

Standard Hours of Business

Client appointments on site are available;

Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (excluding public holidays)

Out with standard business hours

Appointments are available for horses to be brought to the Forge outside of standard business hours and are available ONLY by prior arrangement and are available

Tuesdays - Thursdays 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Saturday - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Please note that prices on Saturdays may be greater than that shown in price list brochures and on www.correctivefarrier.com. Please ask for prices before booking.

How to make a booking

Bookings can be made via telephone on 07802 444 152 (Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm, excluding public holidays) or by emailing bookings@correctivefarrier.com

If contacting me by telephone you may get my answering machine if I am unable to get to the phone or if I have no coverage in the area I am working. If this is the case then please leave a message and I will call you back. I usually return calls in the evening.

Please remember to leave your name and contact number if you leave a message. Its amazing the number of people that don't!

Booking an appointment for;

Shoeing and/or Trimming

To make my business run efficiently I run a pre-booking system. By booking an appointment for your horse in advance you will ensure that your horse is seen on a regular basis. This will ensure that it is shod for when you need it most!

Of course pre-booking is purely optional. If however you wish to phone for an appointment then I'm afraid I cannot guaranteed that I will have any available spaces. You may have to wait up to three weeks from contacting me for an appointment.

Lost Shoes

In the case of a lost shoe then I aim to have it replaced within three days of being notified (excluding weekends and public holidays). However, on occasion this may not always be quick enough. In such a case then you are always welcome to bring the horse to me on an evening. Another option is to meet me at a yard when I am there. This would obviously have to be acceptable to the yard owner but is something that usually works well in past experience.

Lame Horses

In the case of a lame horse, then I do try to see them the same day although this is not always possible. In such a case then I will get to you the next working day. If however the lameness is severe and I am unable to attend that day then calling your Vet may be the best course of action to take for the well being of your horse.
